Privacy Policy

The short version

PixTools processes your image files entirely inside your browser. Your files are never sent to our servers. We do not store, read, copy, or analyze them. We collect minimal anonymous usage data to keep the site running and improve it.

What we don’t collect

  • Your image files or any data extracted from them
  • EXIF or location data inside your photos
  • Your name, email, or account information (we don’t have accounts)
  • Payment information (we don’t charge)

What we do collect

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are useful and where we should invest. GA4 collects an anonymized identifier, your approximate location (country/city), device type, browser, referrer URL, and which pages you view. We do not link this data to any personally identifiable information.

We may also collect technical error reports (via a service like Sentry) to fix bugs. Error reports include the URL, browser, OS, and a stack trace — never your files.

Cookies

We set a small number of first-party cookies for site functionality and analytics. If we show ads, our ad partners (e.g. Google AdSense) may set additional cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the tools will still work.

Advertising

PixTools may display ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense or Ezoic. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show relevant ads. We never allow ads inside the tool interaction area, only on content pages.

You can opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info/choices.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Because we don’t store your files and only collect anonymous analytics, there is usually nothing to delete. If you are an EU resident under GDPR, or a California resident under CCPA, and have a specific question, email hello@pixtools.app.

Children

PixTools is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
